Climate Nexus provided strategic communications services and products to drive substantive and lasting change on climate, energy, and water issues. They worked with and through partners to engage with selected audiences including journalists, thought leaders, influencers, policymakers, funders, and moveable subsets of the American public.
The services they provided were narrative building; messaging guidance; polling; digital communications; media relations; creative content development; spokesperson identification, training, and capacity building. What made Climate Nexus unique was its deep issue expertise, a broad network of partners from the frontlines to the Hill, deep media and digital intelligence and relationships, and real-time news-cycle responsiveness. Worked primarily behind the scenes and not seeking credit, they were essentially a multiplier as well as a network connector.
Whether they received funding to work on a specific issue (e.g., finance, methane, offshore wind) or whether they were drawing from their general operating support, these were the services they provided.
